Fine Print

Typically prints are done on one of these two carefully selected papers, depending on the collection.

Hahnemühle Museum Etching 350gsm - Matt Fine Art

Museum Etching – a natural white, 100% cotton paper – guarantees archival standards. The etching paper features a distinct textured surface. With its premium matt inkjet coating Museum Etching meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper. The luxurious texture of a traditional etching board and the natural white point make Museum Etching the ideal medium for images with soft tints or fine grey nuances.

ENDURA Premier Metallic Paper has the distinctive, attention-getting, glossy finish and metallic. It helps to create striking, some say "glamorous," prints with exceptional visual interest and depth that will appeal to those seeking a dramatic look.

Framing options

There are a range of options available and will depend on the size of the print and where it will be exhibited. The most popular choices are below.

Acrylic facemount

Works best with metallic paper. It provides prints with a floating effect that enhances visual depth and clarity.

Space Frames

These premium frames are designed to show art as the centrepiece. The image appears to float in space within the clean white setting of the Space Frame. The art is set away from the sides and back of the frame and mounted on an edgeless aluminium board creating a 3D effect. Either a white or black background can be chosen.

Traditional Art Frame

Wooden or aluminum frame with artwork placed on a white or black mat board.

Frameless Mount

  • Gataboard - very smooth, moisture resistant, lightweight and strong board with an extra tough skin. The board is black and is available in different thickness sizes.
  • Alupanels - aluminium skinned composite boards which are very strong but lightweight. They have a very smooth surface for premium mounting and archival.
